Autumn Flavors Food and Drink Illustration Series
The Brief: To create an illustration each day in October 2021 based on the They Draw's Autumn Flavors prompt list
Role: Illustrator and lettering artist responsible for concept and illustration.
Tools Used: Procreate app, iPad Pro, Apple pencil, and Photoshop
They Draw is a great website that supports illustrations on food, travel, and more. In October 2021, they posted a prompt list on Instagram with various flavors of autumn, such as chai, barbecue, pumpkin pie, pretzels and beer, and more. I decided to participate by making a cute food illustration for each day of the month based on their prompts. Each illustration includes the food or beverage from the prompt list, drawn as cute characters, and a food pun. These illustrations were also made into calendars that I sold as digital downloads in my Etsy shop.
