Food Trends Infographic Illustration Series
The Brief: To create an infographic on food trends that highlights both food photography and lettering/illustration to share with professionals in the industry
Role: Graphic designer and illustrator responsible for design and implementation of all lettering and illustration. Collaborated on writing the actual trends and researching the sources.
Tools Used: Procreate app, iPad Pro, Apple pencil, Photoshop, Illustrator.
Born out of a collaboration between a food photographer and illustrator, Liesel Bockl and I created an infographic and individual images sharing food trends to share with our professional groups as a way to highlight our skills.
What are the major trends affecting the food industry as we head to the second part of 2021? There is no question Covid 19 and the environment play a big role in shaping the where, the what and the how of what we eat and drink. This series contains some food trends according to the top trend agencies that help to provide a snapshot of our evolving eating habits post Covid-19. Although challenging, with this shift comes opportunity. We are seeing many food brands and organizations responding to our new priorities with exciting services, innovative products and new digital solutions.
