Spice Up Your Life Food Pun Illustration and Lettering Artwork
The Brief: To create an artwork about spices in the size and format for the They Draw & Cook website for their September 2020 Play Along challenge.
Role: Graphic designer and illustrator responsible for concept, design, and implementation of all lettering and illustration.
Tools Used: Procreate app, iPad Pro, Apple pencil.
The They Draw & Cook website had a call for spice-related food illustration and artwork, so I created a cute punny illustration with all my favorite spice characters. I created separate illustrations with each of the spices standing alone to post on social media as well. The final full illustration can be found on the They Draw & Cook website (link below). The piece was also featured on their homepage in early October 2020.
