Role: Graphic designer and illustrator responsible for concept, design, and implementation of all lettering and illustration.

I love drawing food, so food packaging is a natural place to explore. On a recent trip to Lisbon, I was enamored with all of the sardine packaging, and ended up creating an illustration to celebrate that. It was a perfect fit for me, a combination of both illustration and lettering in a food topic. This spurred more research into vintage packaging and started a series (still ongoing) with more illustrations of food packaging and drink bottles and cans. Not only do I find the vintage packaging a great source of inspiration, but the project allows me to explore lettering and illustration combined.
